Mia Spasojevic

Mia comes to us from Serbia. She started her USA journey on the East Coast in Martha’s Vineyard only coming to Vail for a ski vacation. And then she stayed, got a job, and fell in love with the summers. Have you heard that one before?

She started working at Sweet Basil in 2019 as support staff working her way through all FOH positions until she landed at Dining Room Manager in 2022. Although she studied journalism in college, the hospitality industry has provided her the opportunity to travel and experience different cultures around the world. Mia is a hardworking individual always learning and growing and expanding her knowledge; she is always looking for professional development opportunities. And in this business, that means she gets to do what she loves, eat and drink!

When Mia is at home, she finds herself in the kitchen, because cooking and especially baking makes her happy. She also spends her time practicing pilates and hiking with her dog Bruno.
